Scholarships and Educational Awards

Cambridge College is committed to supporting access to career-focused education and recognizing students who demonstrate academic achievement, commitment to their studies, financial need, community involvement, or other qualities consistent with the College’s educational mission. From time to time, Cambridge College may offer scholarships, bursaries, tuition awards, or other forms of educational assistance to eligible students. The availability, amount, eligibility requirements, and application process for each award may vary.

Scholarships or awards may be based on factors such as:

  • Academic achievement or previous educational performance;
  • Demonstrated financial need;
  • Commitment to education and career development;
  • Community involvement or volunteer experience;
  • Leadership, motivation, or personal achievement;
  • Eligibility for a particular program or intake; and
  • Other criteria established for a specific scholarship or award.

Students interested in scholarship opportunities are encouraged to contact Cambridge College Admissions or Administration for information about awards that may currently be available.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligibility requirements are established separately for each scholarship, bursary, or educational award. Meeting the basic eligibility criteria does not guarantee that an applicant will receive an award. Applicants may be required to provide supporting information or documentation, which may include academic records, a personal statement, proof of financial need, references, or other information relevant to the particular award.

Award Decisions

Scholarship and award applications are reviewed according to the criteria established for the applicable award. Cambridge College reserves the right to determine recipients in accordance with the published eligibility and selection requirements.

The amount awarded may vary between recipients and between scholarship programs. Unless specifically stated otherwise, scholarships and awards:

  • Have no cash value and are applied toward eligible tuition or College fees;
  • Cannot normally be transferred to another student;
  • Cannot be combined with another College award where the applicable scholarship terms prohibit it;
  • May be subject to continued enrolment or academic requirements; and
  • May be withdrawn or adjusted if the recipient no longer satisfies the conditions of the award.

External Scholarships and Funding

Students are also encouraged to explore scholarships, bursaries, grants, and educational awards offered by governments, community organizations, employers, foundations, professional associations, and other external organizations. Cambridge College does not control the eligibility requirements, application process, selection decisions, payment timelines, or continuation of scholarships offered by external organizations. Students are responsible for reviewing and meeting the requirements of any external scholarship or funding program for which they apply.
